"Once mighty dragon leviathans, so full of life, these were reanimated by the Lich king and bound to his eternal will. however.. as Ner'Zhul slowly vanes due to Illidan's partial use of the Eye of Sargeras, many of these skeletal wyrms simply fell to pieces.. As time passed, an independent group, known as the Forsaken, was gaining the foothold, lead by the fierce banshee-ranger Sylvanas Windrunner. Struggling to gain every possible advantage over the Undead scourge, the Forsaken performed a special cleansing ritual on the old Wyrm bones. They even sacrificed some of their Liches, trying to bring those mighty leviathans back.
and indeed they have come.. but.. their original dragon souls combined with the bones of the Liches, forming those.. atrocities.. as they now called themselves. They were furious as they were living the nightmare again.. But Sylvanas approached them. She spoke and the old dragon spirits listened... Finally they agreed to lend their free minds and powers. to get rid of the Scourge. Even now, they roam the Plaguelands and Northrend, battling against the Scourge and doing their deeds, hoping that one day.. one day.. they will deserve their eternal rest.
